There is a drive in my soul

longing to know the real me

and as I grow old

for the world to see all the colours unfold

and wings spread as they become bold

an expression of self,

Refusing to be anybody else.

So I come along with my journey

if I may reach you while learning

Raw, authenticity and truth

Something only vulnerability can do

And as I take off my armour

will you never have to wonder

Why I value such kind

and understanding the mind

Why spirits draw nearer

connections become dearer

I rest my pen

until another day begins

with an inspiration

and a reason

to share the Gifts given

from a Heavenly Kingdom
